Visual Testing (VT)

Visual Testing is the primary and most frequently used inspection method. VT is performed before, during, and after welding to evaluate weld profiles, joint preparation, and surface discontinuities.

DVT uses direct observation with gauges and lighting, while RVT uses cameras, borescopes, or drones to inspect inaccessible areas. VT identifies early defects that prevent costly rework later.
